Our recruiting strategy focused on bringing in athletes committed to both their sport and education, which played a crucial role in our achievements.”
Q: The women’s basketball team, led by Coach Longoria, has also accomplished impressive feats. How did your collaboration contribute to their growth?**
Gumbs: “Our approach was holistic. Under Coach Longoria, the emphasis on teamwork and community involvement has cultivated a bond among athletes that transcends the court. Those connections not only brought success but also enriched their university experience.”
